Tap Into The Flow State
Learn How To Find A Way To Tap Into The Flow State In Virtual Reality
“Be still for one song (5 minutes) per day, close your eyes and breathe with the bell. Your mind will clear, your body will relax, your life will change.”
MAY 30, 2023
The power of 5 minutes can change your life. With the constant busyness that every day brings, it can be hard to get a few minutes to yourself.
But what could setting aside 5 minutes a day do for you? Well, 5 minutes of hype music can get you excited, 5 minutes of silence can distill peace, and even 5 minutes of talking can help express built up emotions.
Flow State
While all of these options are possible, they are not necessarily the best way to bring that craving of inner peace, restoration and clarity.
So the question that stands is, well what is?
Imagine if you could send yourself into a full state of optimal consciousness, or the optional state of mind for focus, retention and cognition.
This is called the Flow State. Popularized by positive psychologists Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi and Jeanne Nakamura, flow state is a feeling where you become fully immersed in whatever you are doing. Your brain and body aim to maintain focus and stability of the mind, which is challenging in highly simulated situations.
Unless we can find a way to tap into the flow state, our brain struggle to be present and non distracted, minimizing efficiency.
You are probably wondering…
How do I achieve this sense of focus and utilize it in my day to day?
Well… We will have to go into the flow: the psychology of optimal experience and how it correlates to the peak performance of our brainwaves and heart rate metrics in real world. The higher levels of breath-work frequency, the more high-quality, well being mental state you will achieve in daily life.
What is Breath-work?
The basic idea of breath-work is to release toxins and stress from your body as you breathe out and nourish your mind and body when you breathe in. It is an active meditation technique that focuses on breath in order to purge the body and nervous system of emotional debris.
Forbes describes breath-work as “an experiential therapy that uses accelerated breathing to evocative music to access altered states of consciousness.” Breath-work allows you to tap into a flow state because it oxygenates the brain, stimulating different regions that access the subconscious mind. Our subconscious is the powerhouse and record holder of all the information from our life, including memories, beliefs, and values.
When you have control of your breathing, removing yourself from your external state and focusing on mindfulness of your body, you allow yourself to tap into your inner knowing and infinite intelligence.
This small sense of clarity is the first step to a renewed, peaceful life. The more you build your intuition and courage, the more you equip your mind to achieve anything with full focus.

Learning from a Master…
Jason Campbell, the Founder of Zen Wellness, an organization committed to health, healing, and longevity using the skillful means of time-tested Medical Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga, uses his skills to teach the art of breath-work. He is a 7th-degree black belt and Zen Wellness Master Teacher who has been teaching the eastern healing and spiritual arts for over 25 years.
Campbell has found a way to intertwine his talent for music composition with the art of breath-work in order to optimize the experience.
“The Ancient Masters of the East observed recurring patterns in nature, medicine, music, human affairs, and all aspects of life. They categorized these observations into the Five Phases, or Elements,” Campbell explains. “Music is a tool for transformation. Each piece is a unique expression of one of the Five Chinese Elements, of which we are all created, and serves as a foundation for personal meditation practice.”
